Trial Day #1: Standing Strong for Sammy
This update is shared by the Graham family as the long-awaited trial for justice in Sammy’s case begins. We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support that continue to surround us through this journey.
Today was the first day of the trial, and the court finalized the motion for a judge to decide the case instead of a jury. It was an emotional and deeply heavy day for us, and we know each day of this trial will carry the same weight.
There’s nothing easy about sitting in a courtroom and hearing the painful details of our beloved Sammy’s murder. But today, we were surrounded by family and friends whose love and compassion lifted us up, reminding us that we’re not alone.
A Call to Stand Up for Sammy
Tomorrow, the trial continues at 10 a.m., and we’re calling on all of Sammy’s friends to show up. Sammy needs you now more than ever. Don’t let fear hold you back—come to the courtroom and show Sammy, our family, and everyone that you truly care.
These are the moments that define us—the times when judgment comes and life tests our courage. Some will shy away from the pressure, but others will shine, standing tall for what’s right.
Remembering Who Sammy Was
You all know Sammy was the kind of man who’d do anything for anyone. I know this because I saw it with my own eyes, and I feel it in my heart—Sammy was a part of me, and I am a part of him. We are cut from the same cloth.
If you can’t make it, we understand. But to those who know you should be there—this is your moment to stand up for Sammy Graham. Be there for him, for us, and show the world the love and loyalty he deserves.
