Standing Together in Faith, Truth, and Justice for Sammy
Our family is approaching a moment we’ve waited nearly five years to face. The trial for the first-degree murder of our beloved son, Sammy Graham Jr., begins this Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10 AM at the Sault Ste. Marie courthouse.
This three-week trial, before Justice Alexander D. Kurke, will finally seek justice for Sammy’s life — a life taken far too soon, on November 12, 2020.
Up until yesterday, we were set to have a jury trial. However, the defense has now put forward a motion to be tried by a judge instead, which will be finalized Monday morning before the trial begins. This change has left us with mixed emotions — confusion, frustration, and sadness, but also hope that justice will still be served.
We’ve carried Sammy’s light through every step of this painful journey, and now, more than ever, we need your love, compassion, and strength to surround us.
